Omnipotence!

Well.. kinda..

Command Your Followers

You influence the world through acolytes – your true followers and champions. Without them, you are POWERLESS. Let them grow with you and grant them powerful abilities. As they gain levels they can become very useful tools in your task.

But don’t forget, they are  free willed. They might get killed by one of the dangerous creatures of the world or hostile acolytes. Or, if their goals don’t align with yours, they might betray you.. So be careful whom you bestow your powers upon.

Souls For The Harvest

Believers are your source of power – without them, gods become myth and cease to exist. So, you better bring people to pray to you! How you do that is up to you, convince, force or coerce them. Maybe convince the local king to ban any other gods in the realm. Or start to heal the sick and the people might flock to you on their own. But there are also other sources of power in the Immortal Lands, you just have to find them..

Conquer The World

Your goal is domination – only one God can claim the Immortal Lands! Spread your faith, but sooner or later you and your followers will clash with the other gods of the realm. How you best deal with them depends on your godly domain – are you Good? Evil? Act accoringly! Are you the God of Warfare? Violence will be the easiest path. Or are you the God of Trickery? Use stealth and subterfuge to complete your goals. The kind of god you are will change the way you play the game.

Unique Gods with unique playstyles

God of War

Brutish force and cunning strategy – bravery and valour and merciless slaughter- these contradictory elements are all part of you, the god of war. In the end, your approach is straightforward: can I hit it with a big stick? If the answer is yes, you are probably good. Your followers are mighty champions and duellists or renowned generals. Conflict is your goal, because people are much more likely to pray to you when they are afraid to die in the upcoming battle than when sitting at home..

God of Trickery

You are the force in the dark, the manipulator behind the veil. Your agents are faceless, nameless shadows, undetectable and hidden behind numerous identities. You manipulate your way to domination. Kings and Queens are following your command, without even knowing. Even your believers are most often tricked into praying to you.

God of Mercy

It is easy to find friends if you are kind and helpful. Even more so if you are a god that can heal the sick and feed the hungry with a flick of a finger. For the poor and downtrodden, praying to you comes naturally. Thus, your followers are countless. Your acolytes are healers and defenders, protecting those that can’t protect themselves.

God of Nature

Civilisation is a hindrance to your goal: the Triumph of Nature. In your world, there are no cities or roads, no kings or armies, man and nature lives in equilibrium. Your radical ideals will speak to hearth of few, you acolytes will always be few in number. But your ranks can be bolstered with the feral animals of the wild. Your believers will be found in little villages and rarely in the big city.

God of Order

Your domain encompasses that is the basis of human civilization, law, justice, diplomacy, knowledge, government. Your are the shining light that keeps the chaos at bay – not only the forces that seek to destroy order from the outside, but also the chaos that lives in the hearth of every human. As defenders of order your acolytes are welcomed with open arms in every royal court of the realms.

God of Death

The living are weak, free willed and easy to kill. Your tool are rotting corpses, mindless automatons, following your command without a thought. The dead nothing but a weapon in your hand. But even you have to rely on your acolytes: necromancers, willing to trade everything for power and eternal life. You do not need the prayers of the living, the dead fuel your powers. Slay them, and they will fuel your ever-growing army of the dead.

God of Magic

Ultimate power is sought by many. And you can give it to them – to those that are ready to follow and those that are capable. Because few minds can withstand the arcane energies you can gift them. Also, mastering the arcane arts takes many years, even for your acolytes. But a true master of the art will be more powerful than any other individual – be it by wielding mighty spells or by creating powerful, arcane artefacts.
